Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager leads the company’s sourcing strategy, supplier partnerships, and procurement transformation. His/her role drives operational excellence, supply chain resilience, and cost optimization. She/he will shape long-term supplier strategies, manage critical vendor relationships, and build a high-performing procurement organization capable of supporting the company’s growth and innovation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Align Responsabilités initiatives with operations leadership, service managers, and executive teams.
• Define and implement purchasing strategy for spare parts, maintenance materials, subcontracted services, and digital solutions.

Supplier & Subcontractor Strategy

• Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers , spare parts distributors and service subcontractors.
• Lead negotiations for framework agreements.
• Oversee supplier performance programs, including safety compliance, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure timely availability of critical products.

Cost Optimization & Risk Management

• Lead cost reduction initiatives, and supply chain optimization programs.
• Manage risks related to supplier dependency, long lead items, and critical spare parts.

Governance, Compliance, & Sustainability

• Enforce procurement governance, CAPEX/OPEX policies and HSE requirements
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in procurement leadership within maintenance services, industrial services, OEM sector, or heavy industry.
• Expertise in sourcing spare parts, managing service subcontractors, and negotiating long-term service agreements.
• Strong understanding of industrial maintenance, rotating equipment, shutdowns/turnarounds, and Maintenance 4.0 solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in global and local procurement strategies
• Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Fluency in English; French/Arabic.
